I know, it’s another palette…after my Palette Pandemonium post (haha, I love alliteration) I really shouldn’t have gotten this. In my defense, I did get this palette on sale for $19.99 AND I had a $10 off coupon so getting an amazing palette like this for $10 is pretty awesome!
This palette is inspired by the movie Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp and actually has a fairly good assortment of eye shadow colours, blushes and lipsticks I thought because of the movie theme, this palette would be kind of “gothy” in colour assortment but I was pleasantly surprised!
The palette opens up like a book and has 12 more adventurous eye shadows and another 12 neutral eye shadows.
The swatches start at the top left-hand corner and go from left to right. There are no eye shadow names…
There is also a little lookbook of what you can create for yourself. Is it just me, or does Josette look a little tired?
There are 4 lip glosses, 5 blushes, 1 illuminator, a tube of eye shadow base and a tube of black eyeliner.
Here are the blushes from top to bottom and they are heavenly soft with beautiful pigmentation!
The liquid eyeliner has one of the finest precision brushes I’ve seen!
And the lipsticks! Beautiful!
I don’t know about you, but when this normally retails for $25.99, which is still not bad, and then drops to $10…how could I have said no?! I only own a couple of NYX eye and lip products and have been thinking about getting some blushes. Now, I have five blushes! I think this is actually a great way to sample some NYX product if you don’t already have some as there is a good array of makeup colours and types.
Has anyone else seen or grabbed themselves the Crimson Amulet Palette?

DeleteI've been wanting to get the palette ever since I saw it at London Drugs! It got some really positive reviews and looks like you can have a lot of fun with the variety of products. Can't believe you got it for only $10!!!
